Théo Rivière

Théo discovered games for the first time when he started secondary school in 2002, thanks to Magic The Gathering which occupied a large part of his school life. He had a second revelation in 2010 when he entered the Labo de Merlin, a game shop in Pictou where he worked for a while. Benjamin, the shop manager, introduced him to modern board games and he quickly fell in love with them. It was also Benjamin who introduced him to the Libellud team, a publisher who introduced him to the professional game world. In 2013, he answered a classified ad and moved to Nancy to work at Iello. 2013 also saw the release of his first game Shinobi Wat-ahh! at Purple Brain. After a short stint at Yoka by TSUME, Théo joined the Repos Production team as an editorial assistant in 2016. He continues to work on his games in parallel with the releases of Sea of Clouds, Sticky Chameleons, Château Aventure and SOS Dino. In 2018, he leaves Repos Production and launches with his three companions Antoine, Corentin and Ludovic, the team KAEDAMA while focusing more on his work as a game author. In parallel, he teaches Game Design courses for the Artline Institute and discusses the game writing profession on Twitch twice a week.
