About the authors

Alexandra Zaharia is a psychologist with a PhD in special education and an associated researcher at the chEERS Lab, UniDistance Suisse. She studies positive emotions, emotional skills, and play in youth and school settings. Her work aims to develop innovative psychoeducational tools, particularly board games.
Andrea Samson is a professor of psychology at UniDistance Suisse and director of the chEERS Lab. She explores emotions, humour and how we regulate our feelings. Her research inspires board games that help children and adults discover and develop their emotional skills through play.
David Sander is professor at the University of Geneva where he holds the Chair for the psychology of emotion. He is mainly interested in the brain and cognitive mechanisms involved in emotion elicitation, and how these mechanisms modulate attention, memory, and decision-making.
